Prepositions of Location (U.S. Geography)
This lesson teaches prepositions of location using a map of the United States. First, the students are given example sentences to understand the use and meaning of the prepositions. Then, the students have to answer questions using the prepositions. Finally, the students have to make their own sentences and then questions to share with the class. (The second and third exercises require the students to use World maps, which keeps them from copying the same sentences already on the paper. Those may be found separately online or have the students find just use the U.S. map.)
