Personality Dictionary Quiz
I use this this near the beginning of a unit on personality as a dictionary exercise. It´s used to pre-teach some personality words so that the students have at least a framework to work with other than "lovely" or "interesting". The students enjoy working together as I don´t tell them it´s not really a quiz until they´ve finished so they think they´re getting away with something. Is that unethical? Finding the opposites is very productive, too. The adjectives are reinforced throughout the unit and the quiz given again at the end of the unit, for real this time!
