									running dictation
This is a fun running dictation exercise. Itīs good for revising simple past tense and it also involves all 4 skills.
It only requires a little preparation. You need to cut the lines up and stick them on the walls of your classroom. For some extra challenge, you might want to hide them around (e.g stick them on chairs, desks, behind the door etc...). You will then need to form pairs as this game is played in pairs. One student will be the runner and the other person will be the sitter. The runner will run, read and memorize the lines, come back and dictate the lines to the sitter. The sitter will write everything down. Once they finish, they will work together to order the lines and they also need to answer the question at the end. Whoever finishes first will be the winner...Have fun...
