| | Present Perfect verb cards
I made these cards for use with my Have you ever? worksheets.
I printed off 4 sets of cards for each group of 5/6 students. This way there were lots of cards in the pick up pile, a higher chance of success and the game lasted longer meaning the students got more practice.
Donīt forget to make some sort of backing for the cards. I will upload the one I made if you have points to spare, otherwise find an interesting and repetitive symbol (using http://www.google.com images or http://www.ask.com images) and paste it over a whole A4 page. This way you donīt have to spend hours glueing things onto card, and your students canīt see their classmates cards.
The way i used the cards is below....but they`re basic present perfect cards so use them however you like. have fun!
I taught the students:
Have you ever .... ?
Yes I have.
No, I havenīt.
...and then they played go fish in groups of 5 or 6.
Each student gets 5 cards. They ask īHave you ever .... ?ī and if the enswer is īyes i haveī, the student they asked must hand over a card. If the answer is īno i havenītī, then the asker must pick up a card. The aim is to make pairs to get rid of their cards first/ get the most cards.
I canīt make paragraphs in the description, sorry, and the preview is all wierd but the worksheet has itīs words in place)
