Life without Zoe - New York Stories movie worksheet
This worksheet is based on the 2nd part of "New York Stories" - a 45-minutes movie about an independent 12 years old girl living on her own in the Sherry-Netherland Hotel while her parents are on constant business trips to different countries.
This suits perfectly for discussion of NYC lifestyle and Present Continuous practice.
I would recommend to pre-teach the words in bold.
It is a little bit hard for majority of students to answer all the questions straight after watching a movie, but this is indeed a good listening practice. I do not use subtitles because no one will grade the language for them or use subtitles in real conversations, but I give them an opportunity to compare the answers with partners and replay the scenes with answers.
