Advice
This kind of lesson has worked well over the years for advice and has a nice balance of general problems while letting the students personalise the lesson too.
To start the lesson we have a bit of free speaking about a teachers problem and let the students give simple advice.
Then we elicit some language.
Then teams think, write and present solutions to some world problems. Other students can offer more suggestions after presentation for bonus points or whatever.
Last students think of their own problems, listen to advice from the class, write it down if time and select the best advice for which the advisor or their team gets a point. It was originally designed for girls middle school but works well in other environments too.
