Nine different words are emphasized in exactly the same sentence, with nine different implied meanings. This is a great worksheet for advanced ESL Learners and those ready to understand emphasis and its´ various implied meanings. I used this for both my parent´s and teacher´s class and they enjoyed practicing the emphasis and attempting to figure out the changes in meaning. The idea from this activity came from a TESOL textbook. Enjoy!
