Your Opinion!
This worksheet incorporates reading, writing and speaking.
Firstly, the students circle the half of the statement that describes their opinion on a certain topic (e.g. "In my opinion, baseball is the best sport"). They then choose three of the statements and write reasons for their opinions on the lines below. The speaking element of the activity is carried out by the teacher asking students to give their opinions orally, or having the students exchange opinions in pairs.
In my class, we did a show of hands for each opinion, and it was interesting to see what the majority vote was!
