The Ladder Game - fun, high energy ice-breaker/ activity
An Incredibly successful, yet high energy activity or ice-breaker to expend energy and or review previous work studied. You’ll definitely need a large space and a controlled setting so students are respectful to each other. I’ve always demonstrated as one of the competitors to show how to be careful and the path to take. Since students are jumping over legs, I say that if you even *touch* the other team it’s minus points. You can play around with how you say the numbers, by saying 4 twice in a row etc. (this is unexpected as students sit on edge waiting for their numbers) Works well with 6 to 18 students (space depending) – always try pairing students similar in stature and same gender.
