The Music Interview
This is a role play worksheet, there is student B and student A.
1- Student A and B answer questions (which are slightly different) about their music preferences.
2- Student A plays the role of a journalist who interviews student B( a young musician). Student A asks the questions he has in his pair-work grid and jots down student B answers.
Student B uses his/her written answers as a "guide" to help him/her answer the journalist´s questions.
3- When student A has interviewed student B they switch roles and student B starts asking his questions using the grid.
4- Journalists report to the class.
My students generally enjoy playing roles and I think it is important to have them play as if they were real journalists, they should make eye contacts and react to their neighbour´s answers for instance.
