letter lotto worksheet

This dl includes a worksheet and directions to play letter lotto. I use this to practice writing with my young learners. Write six letters on the board. Write these same 6 letters on bits of paper and put them in a bag. Tell Ss to choose three and to write the letters on number 1 (for round one). Have the Ss ask, “what’s the letter?” Pull the letter from the bag and call it out. Do it again two more times. Three more if the students say, “one more time please, Beautiful Teacher!” When that’s done, say, “let’s do round two! Choose three letters!” You can have the students call out 6 letters to use for the game, or use the same letters from before, whatever you want.
