Clear Writing - Avoiding Ambiguity requires students to "listen" to what they are writing to hear how the audience may interpret their sentence. This worksheet give students practice in "listening´ for ambiguity. The worksheet provides 10 common ambiguous sentences and requires students to identify both possible meanings and write a new sentence for each meaning.
