job application letter - fun in reading
This is really a good text to practice inference questions especially with advanced students.Donīt forget to ask few warm up questions.I started the deal asking my students one of the challanging questions asked in job interviews.It was: It is rainy, stormy and a dark night, you are driving back to home.There, at the bus stop you see three people... One is a doctor who saved your life before, the other one is an old man about to die and the last one is the women of your life. You have only one space in your car, whom would you pick up? Well, the answer is: i would give the car keys to doctor so he could save the patient and i would stay there with the woman of my life. You can get amazing answers from your students, then the questions: so was it easy to be hired for that job? Do you think it is easy to find a job these days? will make the smooth transition to start your reading. Wow! that grew too long! sorry I couldnīt cut it short:)
