Firefighter Reading Comprehension

Zoo Reading Comprehension Exercise or Evaluation
I use this as an evaluation at the end of a unit where we read and take notes from several brochures from real zoos. The table is straightforward and requires selecting the relevant information. The questions that follow are more difficult because they require inference.

Instructions Song
A song for teaching classroom instructions and a picture dictionary for practising them. Sing the song to the tune of "Head and Shoulders, Knees and Toes" (NOT the tune that sounds like "London Bridge," but the other tune). Use gestures that make sense to you and your students. Counting Colourful Buttons
I use this worksheet in grade 2 after doing the story "Pete the Cat and his Four Groovy Buttons."
