Paraphrasing Poetry: "Fire and Ice"
This sheet defines paraphrasing. The student will then read the poem "Fire and Ice" by Robert Frost. After reading the poem, the student reads a short paragraph, not a poem, that is a paraphrase. For an exercise, the student will read "Woman with Flower� and paraphrase it. I hope this helps students be less afraid of poetry!

Albinistic Animals Are Awesome
I have tried to give a very basic explanation for why some animals are albinos. There are several CUTE pictures. I also explain how the title is an example of alliteration, and the different parts of speech "albino" can become when the spelling is changed and when it describes a noun.
