The Spotted Zebra (or: how the giraffe got its long neck)
This story is the product of a writing task. The idea is to explain certain things like the neck of the giraffe or the trunk of an elephant in a rather fanciful way. It can be used both as a reading activity and as a starter for a similar writing task. As I�m not a native speaker there might be some mistakes in the text. If so, please tell me.

Basics - Progress Test
This exercise can be used as a test as well. After approxiamately 50 lessons (2 lessons a week) adult students should be able to answer about 70% correctly. There might be some parts where answers are possible which are not accepted as correct. If so, please tell me - I�ll add them to the lists.
