carve your own pumpkin
pupils "carve" the pumpkin with a back marker and then have to decribe it. for eg. if it has a face they have to say what expression does it have (angry, happy etc.) and describe its "body parts. if they draw anything else, like a witch or a cat, they write about that. have fun and be creative!
