Fun listening activity: Describe a picture (physical appearance)
Work in pairs: Each person describes their picture and their partner has to draw what they hear. I print 2 pages on 1 so each person only has 1 piece of paper (and I save paper! :))
I have used famous Dutch people but you can change pictures. Worksheet is fully editable.

At the market listening: fruit, colours & numbers (with instructions!)
I tell a story about Bob, our English teddy bear, going to the market (example of story included).
Match the fruits with the colours - don�t choose colours they�d normalley associate with the fruit e.g. say a yellow strawberry. Children then write the amount of fruit Bob the bear buys.
