Dear All,
Thank you very much for all your entries for Word of the Day. I laughed out loud at some of them.

We had food, tea, questions and answers, pop songs, fairy stories, films,
cartoons, poems, alliteration, wellies, romance, and sex. It was just like a Staff Room on a rainy
afternoon.
Someone said
that it was her first time of entering the Competition. Well, it must be Beginners Luck, because,
CONGRATULATIONS, you are the WINNER

A Lollipop Lady is a sour food with a shape of a fat woman,
that is given to children when they don t do their homework!
But, in reality, what is a Lollipop Lady?
It is a much-used expression in the UK, (and in
Australia), for the Lady who helps school-children to cross safely over the
road to school.
Why Lollipop?
Because she carries a long pole, on the top of
which is a big, circular, yellow and red sign with the words STOP! Children!"
It looks like a big Lollipop.
Here is more information for you.
