I am back! I have been away for a while, although I have been stopping in periodically to see how you guys were doing. I am a teacher living in Japan and this site has made my life so much easier. Although I am being pulled in many different directions right now, I thought it necessary to make a renewed effort to give something back to this community and all you wonderful Teachers!

My students love doing this adlib worksheet! It is similar to the MADLIBS books I had when I was a child. First you fill in the required information on the first page. Like Parts of Speech, Animal Names, Body Parts ECT. Then you use that information to complete the story/letter on the second page. When you finish you are sure to have a very humoro...

The Verb Marathon
Students must race to the finish of the Verb Marathon by drawing aline connecting all the verbs. At the starting line (run) they draw aline to the next verb (walk) ad so on, until they reach the finish. My students really seemed to enjoy this worksheet. Afterwards we read about the Boston Marathon. If anyone is interested I can post the Boston Mara...

Irregular Verbs Matching Game 1 of 3
Letfs face it, irregular verb conjugation can bee a little boring. So, in order to liven things up, my students and I love playing this game! There are three sets for this game, giving you a grand total of 102 cards. The third set has the directions and the backings to the cards. We have a blast every time we play this and I hope you will too!

Happy Valentines Day (reading/listening comprehension quiz)
I teach English in Japan and I made this for my 7th grade class. Its a short history on the holiday, which can be read by the students or out loud by the teacher. Their is a short quiz at the end to test comprehension. I know its not very exciting, but this is the first thing I have posted, so I will try to get better at this. I hope this helps.

Mardi Gras
I made this for my Japanese students, to help introduce them to Mardi Gras. I included a short reading/listening comprehension quiz with it. The article can be read by the teacher or students and then they can take the quiz to help gauge comprehension. It made for a very fun and intresting class! I hope it does the same for you.

Earth Day Sudoku
This is based off of a puzzle that I saw on the internet, but it had a poor black and white design and contained misspellings. I had my students cut out the pictures and paste them in the empty squares, but you could have them write in the name instead. I hope you like it!
