I am back! I have been away for a while, although I have been stopping in periodically to see how you guys were doing. I am a teacher living in Japan and this site has made my life so much easier. Although I am being pulled in many different directions right now, I thought it necessary to make a renewed effort to give something back to this community and all you wonderful Teachers!

The Refridgerator Test: warm up activity (answer sheet included)
I use this with my students as a quick warm up at the beginning of class. It is a real fun and fast test that requires you to think well within the box. According to Andersen consulting worldwide, around 90 percent of the professionals they tested got all of the questions wrong. But many pre-school children got several correct answers. Andersen con...

A fun way for students to practice the Months Of The Year! First, they fill in the speaking bubble with whatever dialogue they think fits the cartoon. That 70´s Show Guess Who Game
My adult students really enjoy this game! That 70´s Show is popular Fox tv show and my students really like the series. I had to upload the game cards and boards seperatly, due to the size restrictions. The game is designed to last only a short while, which is why there are only 9 characters. We play until all the characters have been guessed. Each...

The Next American President
This is a reading/listening comprehension worksheet that I made for my 3rd level J.R. High School students in Japan. It is meant to be read out loud by the teacher, or silently by the students. I have my students use their dictionaries for the words to know section, or you may wish to discuss those words in class. They really seemed to like the Oba...

Earth Day Sudoku
This is based off of a puzzle that I saw on the internet, but it had a poor black and white design and contained misspellings. I had my students cut out the pictures and paste them in the empty squares, but you could have them write in the name instead. I hope you like it!
