Animal friendly vocabulary from PETA
Ask students to list all the animal idioms they know. If they mention any ones that are "a bit dark" draw attention to them. Are there any alternatives? Show them these. Tell them everyone laughed at this idea and no one uses the new idioms. Discuss whether it was a good idea.

Cut in half. Students try to guess what happened. Encourage them to be creative because it doesn�t matter if they are right or wrong so long as they practice the grammar. Their partner will tell them in the end what really happened.

Memory game - adjective collocations

How to spot a liar
Cut up. First the students work to fill in the gaps. Once that is done they read the text again and try to remember it, then they have to explain it to a student who read the other half of the text.
