Text Talk Warmer
I use this as a warmer to classes about the internet or mobile phones. Simply cut out the different sides of the worksheet and get students to put them together. Afterwards you can get them to write text messages or emails to each other with as many different "text talk" words as possible.

I like to laminate these cards and hand them out at the start of class. I like students to try and use them as much as possible throughout the class. I also use them whenever students do focused speaking exam practice. Really good for getting students used to the language they need for the Cambridge exams
