Earth and Mars
Before I taught The War of the Worlds, I did some nonfiction activities about Earth and Mars. There are two charts of information. A picture of the two planets, questions, fill-in-the-blank sentences with a word bank, and an interesting picture of what NASA believes to be a Martian fossil. Also, there is an answer key.

This, again, is based on the book from Dover. I have the summary analysis of the plot, which explains how it is an allegory, a graphic organizer showing the placement of the plot elements, a letter tile puzzle, and a maze. There is an answer key for the letter tile puzzle. Please copy and remove it before you print the puzzle.
