Guessing - time filler
This is fun to play when you have 5 minutes left at the end of a class. Just make teams. Each team gets 5 seconds after a hint to come up with an answer. If no one gets it, then you go down to the next hint, which is easier to understand.

Phonics Practice
I usually put those phonics sheets into a see-through plastic file and get the students to write with dry-erase pen. They listen to me or other students going down the words and try to find the final number. Great to practice pronunciation. You can change the words and use anything you are working on. Hope it helps!

Treasure Hunt (giving directions speaking and writing practice)
I have done this activity in about 2 hours in an intensive English Summer camp with Elementary school (grade 5) students. It requires quite a bit of coordination and checking their itineraries before they do their hunt. The "treasures" were little boxes with candies and some glow in the dark stickers from the dollar store and they were really happy...
