Things to discuss #30
This worksheet deals with dictionary use. Some of the students are actually afraid of this book. This eases them into the use of a dictionary. The page can be edited for other words. Have fun. My students couldnt use the dictionary to decide their answer but beginners should be able to.

shopping for nutritional choices
This worksheet informs the student about nutritional choices in Canada. Many of my students are confused about the food available and are often shocked that what they thought was a healthy choice was actually considered "junk food" to Canadians. Very useful for discussions concerning a healthy diet.

Pick your fights carefully!
This worksheet took 2 classes to complete. The discussions were wonderful and lively! The parents especially needed to understand how to argue with their children in a country where touching your child in anger causing marks is against the law. Had a great time.

Things to discuss #7
This is for the advanced student. Words are mostly negative. I think a student needs to express his or her anger in a controlled atmosphere and together will friends. This was a very emotional lesson.

Grief
This was a tough worksheet to put together...both of my sisters have lost their husbands very early - 47 and 49 years old. We discussed how they processed their lose. Good to know.

Things to Discuss #12
This worksheet needs to be used with caution. Many of the "taboos" that are listed would be better discussed with only men or with only women and advanced students. I have given some extra points to help in the discussion. This page took almost a month to complete because each taboo is so worthy of a lot of information. Good Luck
