Verbs of Reporting - Guessing Game
Print out and cut up the sentences. Put the students into groups of four or five. One student picks up a sentence and it reads out. The other students have to guess the verb of reporting. This is good old back-to-the-board. Split the class into two teams and get one students from each group to sit so they can´t see the powerpoint. The group has to describe the key word to that student without using the four taboo words. Great warmer.
