I created this for my elementary students who need to learn plurals by starting with just adding s. They are also learning to recognise words for pictures for fruit and vegetables and numbers in words with this ws. Please note in Australia zucchini is courgette in American English, and eggplant is Aubergine

In recognition to all the work that mum�s do. Sts correct the article, underline verbs and identify the jobs that mums do before they go to bed, but not missed by this child. I got this in an email and could not resist but make something of it which my adult students loved.

Gerunds find someone who likes
This activity worked well in my class. Students make the questions using the gerunds available. They then match the picture with the question and finally they find a student that likes that activity. It gets them off their chair and also helps with group dynamics

Gran Torino
Students watch the movie half way. Students read the text part one and answer comprehension questions. They also name the characters and match them with the description. They then watch the second part read the text and answer the questions orally as a class. My students loved the movie. There are alot of messages in it.
