Ive just studied past continuous with some of my pupils and I did this exercise for them. It might be useful for your pupils too. The aim is first to complete the sentences with the given verbs in the past continuous, then, to number the pictures according to the sentences. The key is included. Have a nice Thursday ! Bye !

How do we pronounce the -ED ? (number 2) + key
Pupils love drawing so it can be applied to phonetics too. They will have to colour a picture according to the pronounciation [t], [d], [id]. Ive just made this second worksheet because I know that pupils dont like doing the same exercises again and again. So after the lion, Ive decided to use this cute bear :)
Enjoy and have a nice day !

Guess who...
a simple "guess who" game. Your pupils will try to understand your description of the characters (you can add glasses, hats, moustaches and beards if you like) and then they will practise speaking in pairs. This can be used as an ice-breaker at the beginning of a lesson or at the end if you have five-ten minutes left.
