INKHEART- vocabulary worksheet
I just loved this story and couldn´t resist doing it with kids. This ws is a word grid and a synonyms´ exercise to expand vocabulary. They just love it. More to come soon...

TENSES - revision test for intermediate kids
This is a short tense revision test for Present Simple and Continuous, Past Simple and Going-to-Future... It covers statements, negatives and questions; it just doesn´t look that serious.

crime lesson
This is a 2-page worksheet for crime vocabulary - the pages can be used separately; the 1st page can be used as introductory worksheet or activity for a lesson about crime and detectives, and the 2nd page is actually a follow-up for watching an episode or reading a story about Sherlock Holmes. I was amazed to see how his old-fashioned methods and u...

INKHEART - behind the scenes
Another Inkheart ws - this one is about some trivia behind the scenes (interesting for teenagers). It requires reading and then vocabulary work on the text itself. Again, regardless of the ws, I do recommend the book(s) and the movie to all of you and your sts who love fantasy.

funny song - down by the bay
If you´re looking for a really funny song for your kids, I recommend this one. My kids loved it, a colleague of mine even played guitar for her kids, and they loved writing thier own versions of unusual lyrics for it. It´s really fun.

OUR FAVOURITE TOYS - original rhymes for kids´ shows
This is a small collection of rhymes I wrote for my advanced preschoolers and their final performance (they performed them in a theatre for their parents and the rest of the audience), including a theme song from their coursebook at the end. The material includes costume&prop suggestions and a ´choreography´ for each line, and also the link for the...

STARDUST - wordsearchES
And another Stardust ws - this one different again. In this one sts have 2 different wordsearching tasks - one typical (to look for movie words and names in a grid) and one which makes them match beginnings and the ending of the sentences. My sts found that one especially interesting, because it seemed, but only seemed, very easy. Have fun watching...

willow - the movie
This is a worksheet for the movie Willow. It´s not new, but it´s great for classes (esp if your kids like magic - Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings...), because most kids nowadays haven´t seen it, so it keeps them on their toes and it covers a lot of fairytale vocabulary, as it´s full of magic, fairies, brownies, warriors, a princess, a wicked queen,...

COLDPLAY - VIVA LA VIDA
A great song which provides good background for grammar revision (tenses) and afterwards you can have a debate on how fame changes people... I found it very useful, and even added a writing activity later on about the fame topic. I was pleasantly surprised with the maturity of some essays.

revision test for teenagers
This is a test based on upper-intermediate materials with an essay task at the end. It´s practical because it covers a little bit of everything, so you can use it as PLACEMENT, too, when you get a new group and you´re not sure how much they know. Practical, more than attractive, but I hope you find it useful!
