2010 I was living in Bali teaching at an orphanage. I returned to Australia and been working here a couple years. Now its time to continue working on my curriculum as I make plans to return again. Teaching English to kids who love to learn is the best blessing one can ask for, just hope I can return there with a great English program and support for my journey.

Description, Tick Wiggler
A fun writing task for elementary children. NOTE: It makes it more fun if the teacher draws t...

My Family - Description story and activity
I used this story with two classes of beginner learners, one class of 7 year olds and one class with a range from 8-11 year olds. Both classes enjoyed it but the younger class more so. Print off the first lot of pages once, then the final page can be photocopied as a handout for the students to complete about their own family. Happy teaching!

A Day Of Similes
best to print, cut and bind the pages to make a book. each page is a new simile that the character comes across from his day. the pictures turn the metaphorical language become literal. this is best used once the idea of similes has already been taught and to have fun with the kids to show what happens when we use metaphorical language and make it ...

Description Activities
The worksheet is divided into three sections. The first page is a listening and drawing activity. The teacher reads the text to the class and the students listen and draw the character they hear being described. This can be quite fun to see the different results. The second page is a reading activity. Ss read the text and answer the comprehension...

Pronouns for girls and boys
As Im sure we all know, other languages do not have different pronouns between the male and female genders and not as many for each. I made this worksheet to review my student in what they have learnt in class for which pronouns belong to boys and which belong to girls.
