Fox hunting debate
Divide your students into two groups, one supports hunting, the other supports a ban. Give each group 20-30 minutes to prepare their arguments using the ideas given. Groups can also think of more. Bring the two groups together and let them debate. Teacher acts as a neutral mediator. Excellent advanced level class. Lots of discussion.

Telephone minimal pairs
Give out one sheet to each student or to pairs of students. Each students needs a pen and paper. You must read out a telephone number to the students using the minimal pairs on the worksheet. Students listen carefully and write down the number they think you are reading out.

Where are you from?
