Modal verbs - song by Jack Johnson "Better together"
The song "Better together" by Jack Johnson is perfect to introduce modal verbs! It is ready to be cut - so that you dont need to do many copies. The students should fill in the gaps while listening to the song.
Another good activity is: to let them guess which modal verb could be used and then they listen to the song.

how animals move
This ws is designed for early learners to explore different verbs. I do this with the drama students and allow them to find a space in the classroom and act out the different movements and compare how an animal would move to how we move and how in fact similar many of them are. They really enjoy acting out the movements. Hope you like it
