Did you Race
Students have 5 minutes to finish the race. They must ask different students "Did you ~ yesterday?" If their partner says "Yes, I did" the can circle that number and ask someone else the next question.
(I sneakily put in Did you drive a car? and Did you drink coffee? to ensure the students had to interact with the English teachers).

Parts of Speech: Shape Poems Organizer
I did this to review parts of speech at Christmas time but I�ve also done it for mother�s day, and we sent them home decorated as cards. Students brainstormed a list of words about christmas/mothers, then sorted them into the right category (noun, verb, adjective) then made a shape poem with them. I printed some simple Christmas/mother�s day shapes...
