A Portfolio

Hi everybody!

I m so glad I m back again.  I had a very hard summer working long hours in our language centre. This  school year we want to make a portfolio for every student and I have the task to work out what to include in it. The trouble is that I don t have an idea what to do and what  it is about. Could you please give me a hand? A website or some ideas? Have someone of you already done such a thing? My students are grades 2 -7, this is age 8- 13. I ll be very greatful if you could give me some information. I ll google the net to find out some information but if someone have had the experience with portfolios for children I ll appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
Hugs

have a look here:
http://www.coe.int/t/dg4/linguistic/source/Framework_EN.pdf
http://userpage.fu-berlin.de/elc/portfolio/flyer.pdf
http://www.coe.int/T/DG4/Portfolio/documents/Pass_2spr.pdf
the 2 last pdf documents are partly written in French, but everything is translated in English, so it should be fine. for one of the documents, you ll have have to zoom (600%) but there s a good explanation of what is a portfolio and what it should include!
have a nice day
