Have to agree with cunliffe here: dick is usually applied to adults.

@Sophia, your punctuational shock has just reminded me that there isnt really a consensus on language and morality on this site (Im assuming thats what you meant to convey without being judgemental).

William was enjoying his ride when he heard the ominous, Leaves on the line! He got ready for the inevitable tumble.

Marieth ,   you ROCK

Portuguese " trains" , which you forgot, roll on like this :

Trof -  Fafe,  Trof -  Fafe  Trof -  Fafe - Trof -  Fafe

which are the names of two very small cities ( I live in one of them, Fafe ) and the " onomatopaico"  ( does this make sense ? ) sound is, obviously similar.

Now,  attention, hard business - I am a single daughter, so, I only know Dick. Evil Smile

May only one of you raise a a finger and I delete my post. No intention to be rude, I know what I wrote, I m not a nun, but I do respect everyone of you.
Just a single paragraph, and I can delete it with ZERO problems.

@Almaz, no need to pay copyright for inspiration - lol, that doesn t exist.

Hugs

Richard

EDIT:
@ Poor of you Les , cant wait for your answer. Ill copy/paste it for sure, as a great document about some kind of subject less ... well , slightly inconvenient.
Cant wait for your wise words

Hi CincoQuinas

Thanks a bunch for your support....
Thanks to Almaz....

But, by now, I am not that sure; I didn t want to be rude, that was not my idea, but, now, with some  pms, I am not sure .... I m fully convinced I didn t write anything rude, but, as I am not native, may be I have done some big mistake.

I m off to bed, tomorrow is another day, I ll check tomorrow.

Sorry Les, I didn t mean to poison your your post.

Hugs

"So, they say this thing runs on methane. I ll believe it when I see it--here goes."

Concerning the word "dick" (not that it bothers me):

We prudish Americans generally consider "dick" as profanity.  If placed on a profanity scale of 1 to 10 (ten being the F word or C word and one being "poop"), dick probably sits at about 5-6, one or two steps higher than ass.

Some talk arounds for younger folks are: weaner, weewee, pee man, penis, peepee
