You can use this game in a lot of different ways. These are actions words in the present continuous form. I cut them into strips and laminated them. I played 2 games with these cards. Pictionary Laminate three white pieces of paper or let the students use the chalkboard if you have one. Separate the students into three groups. Bring three students up to draw (1 from each group) and show them all the same word. The first group to guess correctly gets a point. Mime Game 1. Show the card to the whole class and have them show you the action. 2. Bring 5 students up at a time. Have them all face one way. Have the student at the back of the line read the card silently and then tap the person in front of them on the shoulder. That student then mime´s or acts out the action to that student. The action is passed down until the first student and then the front student has to act it out and say what they are doing.
