Past_Simple. Did_you_eat_a_banana? Sentence_practice_and_card_game.
[1] Ss practice the sentences with the teacher (page one). [2] Ss play a card swapping game using the past simple question and answer format. Example S1 asks S2: "Did you eat a banana"? If S2 has the "Yes, I ate a banana" card, then S2 answers yes and the two Ss do rock-paper-scissors. The winners takes the loser´s card. If S2 answers "No", then they say goodbye and find their next partners to do the same / another question. You can vary the number of cards that you give to the Ss in order to make a longer or shorter activity.
