Song: Chumbawamba "Homophobia"
This ws consists of 3 parts. PART 1 (p. 1): Students listen to the song by Chumbawamba and put the lyrics in the correct order. PART 2 (p. 2): a. Students answer comprehension questions. b. Open-type questions on the topic of homophobia for class discussion. c. Optional activity - students do some research on other types of racist attitudes to discuss in class in the next lesson. PART 3 (p.3-4): Teacherīs pages - Answers to Part 1 and Part 2a. Link to the song on youtube and links to more resources on the topic (all links hyperlinked and ready to click). A great thank you to jucassol for inspiring me with his/ her worksheet on the subject. He/ she reminded me of this song, which I have always found deeply moving.
