Pronouncing ed endings Pronouncing ed endings

This worksheet is aimed for anyone who needs to learn the pronunciation of words ending in -ed. I noticed that my students found it hard to remember the rules so I have tried to find a way to explain the rules in the simplest way. For an easier way to remember, they could start to learn the rules for words ending in "id" and "t", then the rest of the letters they will eventually remember, that the sound must be "d" if the last letter of the words does not fit in the "t" and "id" "section". I have written various exercises in order for them to put this rule into practice. I have included the answer key at the end. I hope it helps you all someway.. Enjoy! I have updated this file as I noticed a few mistakes and I have included a black and white/greyscale version.
