Knowing how to work with the dictionary is an important tool to develop students´ autonomy. 4 weeks ago I started a Writing Workshop (A2 level students, their 3rd year of English) and I dedicated the first two 45-minute lessons to teach them how to work with it. This worksheet is the first 45-minute lesson: 5 different, simple exercises with a growing level of difficulty (listing words by alphabetical order,finding where to look up some words, sentence completing...).
