Knowing how to work with the dictionary is an important tool to develop students´ autonomy. Inspired by Longman´s Active Study Dictionary Worksheets, I created 4 different, simple but fun exercises with a growing level of difficulty. Finding words (verbs beginning with ´ha´, four-letter word adjectives, etc.)in the wordsearch puzzle; completing words; choosing the best confusing word; using the appropriate phrasal verb in context.
