The Importance of Focus
This a TedTalk activity. The listening part is not created by me, but it is taken from the TedEd website. I added the reinvestment task at the end. You can provide students with additional reading material on the topic, so they select appropriate information from both the video and other texts to write an opinion text and support their arguments with pertinent information. It can be used as a class work activity or as an evaluation of listening and writing skills. A speaking activity could be a discussion about the importance of focus in students` life right after viewing the video. Feel free to adapt this worksheet to your students` specific needs.
