Clothes paper doll 1 (tops)
I hope you like this, I drew it all myself.
There are many versions of this activity you can think of. Instructions are:Divide the class into small groups. Cut a paper doll and a set of clothes cards for each group of students. Give the doll a name (Emma?) and write on the board what Emma is wearing, for example "Emma is wearing a stripy T-shirt, brown shorts and blue trainers". The first group of student to put the correct clothes on their Emma can make a buzz sound. Check they have the correct clothes and add points on the board. You can do the same orally for more advanced levels. You can use simpler voc or more complicated voc to describe the clothes, depending on ss age and level.
I didnīt write the name of the clothes on the image cards because when students play this game, they should have to guess what is what themselves. Plus, now you can call trousers "pants" if you want, or flip-flop "tongues" and so on... depending on where you are.
This in only the first set of clothes, I also have a downloadable sheet of skirts and trousers, and then dresses and shoes.
On this sheet: brown blouse, multicolor cardigan, pink top, green shirt, grey jumper (or woollie), black cardigan, purple shirt, blue t-shirt and stripy t-shirt.
