A RC based on the picture and more exercises on the past simple on page 2. I know who the artist of the picture is, and have made efforts to contact him, with no success.

First they unscramble the verbs and then they fill the gaps with the right one. Each is used once only. You could remind them about adding �s� with the third person.

Spot the Differences
This is designed for pair work. One partner has card A, the other card B. They take turns to ask each other the questions and note the answers. They must not see each other�s card. At the end, they compare answers to find the differences, which are Numbers 1,6,7,9,11. Then they write them up.
