My Monster cards.
Read - Understand - Draw. These monster cards are a good way of getting kids to read and understand short texts. Students draw the monster according to the instructions. Here is a small worksheet on shops. I started this lesson by letting my class design their own town. They had to draw the streets with lots of different shops, museums, parks etc. Then they had to go on and say what they could buy in each shop. This lesson turned into a project that everyone loved. Clothes
A worksheet to colour in. I made a wardrobe with my class (a square piece of paper or card folded from both sides into the middle to make two doors) the children then cut out these items of clothing and pasted them into the wardrobe. comparatives and superlatives
This is a worksheet to practise comparatives and superlatives. Students look at the picture and first make up simple sentences for each one. (cut off the key at the bottom before giving it to your students) They then extend the sentences using dates etc..
