Summer Vocabulary
I noticed when doing vocabulary with my class, that although they knew the words... the spelling was terrible. So I tried to think of a way to get the kids to think about the spelling of a word before writing it down. I came up with this worksheet. The kids have to make their own wordsearch by fitting as many summer words into the grid as possible....

A set of four conversation cards. (set 2 also being uploaded today) Cut them out and laminate. Students pick a card and have to talk about the subject.(set a time limit if you like or let ss prepare first depening on their abilities) Give points according to how many words/phrases from the word bank they manage to use.
