They had to draw the streets with lots of different shops, museums, parks etc. Then they had to go on and say what they could buy in each shop. This lesson turned into a project that everyone loved. Summer Vocabulary
I noticed when doing vocabulary with my class, that although they knew the words... the spelling was terrible. So I tried to think of a way to get the kids to think about the spelling of a word before writing it down. I came up with this worksheet. The kids have to make their own wordsearch by fitting as many summer words into the grid as possible....
