Abuse in Canada is Against the Law
So much information. This worksheet took 1 week to complete in class. I took each form of abuse and discussed it separately. My students had no idea what Canada thought of as abuse. It really opened their eyes. Canada is a wonderful and safe place for everyone. Enjoy and Learn!

My or Mine
This worksheet is an excellent resource when used to explain the use of my or mine in basic terms. This was a huge problem in my class with my adult students. You could make up your own questions about your own students. Have fun - remember KEEP IT SIMPLE!

Things to discuss #32
My advanced students asked for this worksheet as a review. Some have come in at a later date and missed the introduction and what each punctuation point is used for. Have fun

Things to discuss #2
It is hard to come up with topics for discussion. Here the students have to change to agree or disagree and time to think. It also gives you time to see what interests the students most.
Sometimes we only get through about 4 words and the 2.5 hours is done...good luck

Things to Discuss #1
This is a great starter for conversations/discussions. The student needs to think that the topic is positive or negative and either agrees -yes or disagrees -no with the subject. Then they can write down a few words to use in the discussion as a visual...more to come.

Things to discuss #30
This worksheet deals with dictionary use. Some of the students are actually afraid of this book. This eases them into the use of a dictionary. The page can be edited for other words. Have fun. My students couldnt use the dictionary to decide their answer but beginners should be able to.

Things to discuss #16
This is a great reference sheet for the students to plan on watching movies. Every one of these movies to me served some purpose - either good or bad. This took about 1 month to complete because we carried it over by doing a "Movie report" and have a movie shown in class with popcorn and then they had to discuss - we watched "Brave". Have a grea...
