Not the most amazing sheet but it does the job; students need to translate the (very basic) adjectives and then describe the two characters in simple sentences. i use it to check how much of the vocabulary they remember after the unit on adjectives.

match joke to punch line
3 pages of jokes. just copy on colored (thick) paper, cut into cards and mix up. (I made a set out of every page so it is not too difficult). In small groups students match the joke to the punch line and read the funniest one to the entire class. Reading comprehension made fun!

Our book has a chapter on London so I thought this song would be appropriate. Even though it is oldfashioned, my students related very well to it! Full lyrics on page 1, different exercises for each verse on page 2, including, fill missing word, correct wrong word, order lines, find rhyme etc.
